Don't be taken in by the write up. Firstly this is not a bed and breakfast. This is a couple of rooms above a cafe with no room service that will for an extra £15 each give you a breakfast in the cafe. ( It is a wonderful breakfast but does …
Very Cosy and awesome Food&Coffee! Please go there and try it! :)
The staff is kind and friendly. I tried cinnamon roll, Americano and Duke’s Blues tea, recommended. Unfortunately, there is not much gluten free choices, disappointing.
Just the best hot chocolate in the world...my kids said :) very friendly service. Dank je wel
We had Tomato soup and curry soup which was nice on a cold day. You get vegetarian or vegan options in Lunch. Perfect Pancakes with fresh fruits and vegan sandwich was nice. One suggestion to the owner if one is sitting near the entry door it gets very cold every time someone opens the door. Please see if you can do something about that.
As a B&B:
Perfect location. Laughable door locks (could be opened with literally anything I guess). Constant smell from the sewers. The room design is okish, except for the dead bird "modern installation" and awkward photos "art".
No room service during 4 days of our stay (though we didn't need one actually). Spare towels and enough toiletries is a bonus.
Really challenging way (narrow stairs) to climb to the rooms.
A lot of noise from both the cafeteria below, from some construction works in the building almost every day and from other guests passing through & the staff working just behind the thin room wall.
Good they've put curtains on the windows, because the look from them is just an industrious nothing and other numbers can see directly what you do in your room from like 3 meters range.
The toilet seat is super high and it's not screwed well enough to the ceramic part.
All in all it's almost worth the money, at least in this town.
Great place with positive vibes and nice service. I strongly recommend to stop here!
We were here on Sunday morning for breakfast. The team is very kind and fast and everyone is in a good mood. :-)
Thank you for a perfect delicious breakfast! The mixed plate for two was big enough for us parents plus our 5-year son. That was definitely not our last time at your place.
